 Dam:
Fluga frá Fossi
 Dam's sire: unrecorded
 Dam's Dam:
Perla frá Ökrum 1

[Description as given by the owner] Breki loves to go out on the trail with other horses, and this has been his job for the last four years. He has been ridden by every type of rider of various age and experience levels, though lately ridden mostly by children. On his own he is a bit lazy, and gets sassy when pushed, but is a very safe horse to ride.

He is tall and strong at 13.3 hands and is active and in good condition. You'd never know he is 22. He was imported from Iceland and is a smooth ride.

Price: $1500

Siggi from Steen
Dark buckskin gelding, born June 17, 2002
US Registration Number:
US2002
Current Location: Grapeview, WA

Sire: Segull fra Stora-Hofi (1st Prize)
 Sire's sire:
Ţáttur frá Kirkjubć
 Sire's dam:
Nótt frá Kröggólfsstöđum
Dam: Pandra frá Icelandic Horse Farm
 Dam's sire:
Léttir frá Ey I
 Dam's Dam:
Vindottur from Fitjamyri

Siggi is a nice guy who would make a great trail or pleasure horse and may be suitable for low level competition. His training under saddle was started at Icelandic Horse Farm in Canada. He is five gaited with a good medium walk, clean trot, and it is easy for him to tolt. We are working on getting the tolt when requested but as his self-carriage improves so does the natural tendency to tolt.

He is laid back and calm, but not lazy. Requires a rider who will take a leadership role as he is independent minded. Confident novice or better rider recommended, as he will take advantage of a less experienced or unassertive rider of any age. He has a lot of trail miles, many of those ponied. He is not bompbroof, for example he needs more work going through water, but nor is he a spook.

He was a stallion until the age of 3 or 4, but does not exhibit studdish behavior. I keep him with mares and they have tested that for me. He backs down from conflict.

While fairly tall at 13.2 hands and with good bone, Siggi has a lighter longer build and would not be appropriate for a heavy rider.

Trekkur from South Spoon

Taken May, 2007

Trekkur from South Spoon
Chestnut gelding, born  April 26, 2004
US Registration Number:
US2004102647
Current Location: Chandler, Arizona

Sire: Kaftein frá Icelandic Horse Acres
Sire's sire: Hugur frá Hofsstađaseli (second prize)
 Sire's dam: Kólgríma frá Jadri
 Dam: Arva frá Pegasus
Dam's sire: Fengur fra Stokkseyri (first prize)
 Dam's Dam: Ogn frá Blonduosi

[Description as given by the owner.]  Trekkur is very friendly and people oriented.  He'd probably curl up in your lap if you let him, and he'll leave food to follow you around. He has nice gaits, including tolt, with good movement.  He also gets along well with other horses.  Trekkur learns quickly and just really needs someone with more time for him.  He is easy to handle, leads well, stands for the farrier, and doesn't mind baths.  He is curious and wants to be in the middle of everything, and will try to "help" with the chores.  He's a tall guy, probably around 13.2 hands and still growing.

He started his training in the spring of 2009.

Price: $2500
